I am about to travel. How do I manage my eSIM profile on my device before I travel ?
We advise you to purchase your Ubigi data plan the day before or a few hours before your departure to ensure that you have an Internet connection available immediately upon your arrival at your destination. NB: if you have purchased a preloaded eSIM on ubigi.com, we advise you to install it the day before or a few hours before your departure as long as you have an Internet connection (e.g. Wifi, connectivity of your local SIM card).
– If you are traveling by plane, we advise you to do the following two steps just before activating airplane mode on your device: 1/ Install your Ubigi eSIM 2/ Switch off data roaming of your primary line 3/ Activate airplane mode When you arrive at your destination, make sure you switch on your Ubigi line for cellular data.
– When crossing a border to arrive in your destination country, we advise you to carry out the same two operations described above in order to be able to access Ubigi connectivity quickly and easily.

Good for saint martin island (french side)
I used it in saint martin island, worked very well on yhe French part of the island but did not worked on the Dutch part. I got an error saying that i do not have no data remaining on my telcell provider.

Simple installation and robust service
Last summer I installed an eSIM from Vodafone. The installation process was long and complicated including scanning QR codes, etc…. But Ubigi made it super simple by providing an app that adjusts almost ALL the setting (except for having to manually switch the data roaming toggle). The service has been perfect so far (Singapore and Thailand).

Ubigi e-sim for Japan... recommended.
Had no problems at all with connecting to the Internet. I hadn't left the plane yet when the e-sim kicked in and I was connected! Have used it fairly constantly using Google Maps and had no problems whatsoever. Would highly recommend this e-sim.

How to check if a device is ready for eSIM?
Check eSIM compatibility
Smartphones & Cellular Tablets:
Dial (*#06#). If an EID number shows, your device supports eSIM!
Laptops (Windows 10/11):
Open your flyout (bottom-right corner). If Cellular settings are visible, your laptop supports eSIM!
Check Carrier Unlock
On iOS:
Go to Settings > General > About, scroll to Carrier Lock. If it says "No SIM restrictions", your device is unlocked!
On Android:
Go to Settings > Network & Internet > Mobile Network, turn off Auto network selection. If you see multiple available networks, your device is unlocked! If only one appears, or you get an error, it may be locked.
