Easy to use, instant connection
I used Ubigi for my recent trip from Australia to South Korea and Japan. It worked flawlessly and I had no issues connecting at both airports on landing. My partner had another service and had so much trouble connecting that he cancelled it and used Ubigi instead

Very easy to research and buy a plan. Lots of instructions on how to install once purchased and really easy with location based activation as it was ready straight off the plane. No problems in any of the places we’ve been in Japan but we haven’t ventured off the beaten path. Always been good speed.

How to check eSIM compatibility
Smartphones / Tablets:
Dial *#06#. → If an EID number appears, your device is eSIM-compatible.
Windows 10 / 11:
Press Windows+I. Go to “Network & Internet” → If you see "Cellular", your PC is eSIM-compatible.
How to check carrier unlocking
iPhone / iPad:
Go to Settings > General > About. Scroll to Carrier Lock. → If you see “No SIM restrictions”, your device is unlocked.
Android:
Go to Settings > Network & Internet > Mobile network. Disable Automatic network selection. → If multiple networks appear, your device is unlocked.
