I have been using Ubigi for a year now…
I have been using Ubigi for a year now and it has been great. Prior to this, I would always get a pocket wifi device. Ubigi has never failed me until this trip. The wifi went down when I was trying to traverse Kanazawa for the first time and it was kinda a pain. I did get a coupon for 50% off my next code, but it really could have been bad. Still, I will give Ubigi another chance since this was the first time in a year when it got messed up.

Once you found out how to use and connect it then all was good it says it automatically connects which is not true you have to sort it out for yourself I went for unlimited for 7 days it took 2 days to sort it out the over 5 days used 3.5 gb
So if I used it again I would go for the cheapest rate

When it works, it works great! But there's been a few times the data just stops working, especially texting. I try to troubleshoot and nothing.... Then it'll randomly start working again. So strange! But for the most part it's good!

How to check eSIM compatibility
Smartphones / Tablets:
Dial *#06#. → If an EID number appears, your device is eSIM-compatible.
Windows 10 / 11:
Press Windows+I. Go to “Network & Internet” → If you see "Cellular", your PC is eSIM-compatible.
How to check carrier unlocking
iPhone / iPad:
Go to Settings > General > About. Scroll to Carrier Lock. → If you see “No SIM restrictions”, your device is unlocked.
Android:
Go to Settings > Network & Internet > Mobile network. Disable Automatic network selection. → If multiple networks appear, your device is unlocked.
You already have an eSIM in your cart.
Each order can only include one eSIM data plan.
