It works as promissed even in Russia!
I have very little experience with eSIMs. First my Internet did not work at all. But then I found troubleshooting info about APNs on ubigi website and it started to work perfectly. Even the pages which are blocked in the country I was visiting started to work again with eSIM. This way I could have stay connected with my Family during the trip. Thank you

I’m 98% happy with my experience with the unlimited plan from Ubigi. The service/app was easy to download and set up. For my 2 week trip to Japan which spanned Osaka, Kyoto, Nagoya, Hakone, and Tokyo I was connected almost the entire time except for a few times in Tokyo towards the end of my trip. Service down-time wasn’t too long, maybe 20-30 mins but they were at inconvenient times. I would have given 5 stars but had to remove one due to being disconnected at in opportune moments.

How to check eSIM compatibility
Smartphones / Tablets:
Dial *#06#. → If an EID number appears, your device is eSIM-compatible.
Windows 10 / 11:
Press Windows+I. Go to “Network & Internet” → If you see "Cellular", your PC is eSIM-compatible.
How to check carrier unlocking
iPhone / iPad:
Go to Settings > General > About. Scroll to Carrier Lock. → If you see “No SIM restrictions”, your device is unlocked.
Android:
