This is my 2nd time using Ubigi, this time in Italy. I initially had problems setting it up after buying it through the app, but the customer service team was able to help me troubleshoot and then send me a QR code to activate my eSIM. it worked great for the rest of my trip!

When I first got to Japan, my esim worked as it should, but didn't see 5G at all. I'm not sure if it's my settings. Anyhow, the one star off was that there were moments on my first 2-3 days, the card just disconnected completely. I was actually around Tokyo tower when the first time it happened. However. After the 3 times it got disconnected, there were no issues through my whole trip. It worked well in Hong Kong though.

The app is very easy to use
The app is very easy to use, and transfer packages are available at a good price. On iPhone, the eSIM is automatically installed without a QR code; all you need to do is activate the package in settings with a single click. Great deal, I recommend it!

How to check if a device is ready for eSIM?
Check eSIM compatibility
Smartphones & Cellular Tablets:
Dial (*#06#). If an EID number shows, your device supports eSIM!
Laptops (Windows 10/11):
Open your flyout (bottom-right corner). If Cellular settings are visible, your laptop supports eSIM!
Check Carrier Unlock
On iOS:
Go to Settings > General > About, scroll to Carrier Lock. If it says "No SIM restrictions", your device is unlocked!
On Android:
Go to Settings > Network & Internet > Mobile Network, turn off Auto network selection. If you see multiple available networks, your device is unlocked! If only one appears, or you get an error, it may be locked.
You already have an eSIM in your cart.
Each order can only include one eSIM data plan.
