How to reactivate or deactivate an eSIM profile on iPhone?
To reactivate or deactivate an eSIM profile on iPhone, please follow the steps below:
1. On your iPhone, go to > Settings > Mobile Data 2. Under the DATA PLANS list, select the eSIM that you would like to switch on/off. 3. Switch on or switch off the eSIM profile on this page 4. You can select which SIM card will be used for calls, messaging and mobile data.
For example, Mobile data usage can be assigned to your preferred (e)SIM: – go back to the Mobile data page – tap Mobile data – select the (e)SIM that will be the default line for mobile data
Important: APN settings need to be configured if you assign your Mobile data to use the eSIM
For APN settings: 5. go back to Mobile Data and select the eSIM under the DATA PLAN list 6. Go to Mobile Data Network and enter the APN settings of your network operator.

Worked perfectly!
The eSIM worked great and lasted basically until I needed to leave Japan. I got the 5 or 10 GB plan for an 8 day trip and was able to get coverage everywhere I went. The plan literally ran out as I was boarding my flight home so it was perfectly timed.

How to check eSIM compatibility
Smartphones / Tablets:
Dial *#06#. → If an EID number appears, your device is eSIM-compatible.
Windows 10 / 11:
Press Windows+I. Go to “Network & Internet” → If you see "Cellular", your PC is eSIM-compatible.
How to check carrier unlocking
iPhone / iPad:
Go to Settings > General > About. Scroll to Carrier Lock. → If you see “No SIM restrictions”, your device is unlocked.
Android:
Go to Settings > Network & Internet > Mobile network. Disable Automatic network selection. → If multiple networks appear, your device is unlocked.
You already have an eSIM in your cart.
