No, you will not receive a QR code for data plan purchases you make from the Ubigi app since your purchase is added to your existing account as soon as the payment is validated. The purchased data package then becomes immediately available and activated.

The app explained things reasonably well
The app explained things very well. The process of installing an eSIM is not simple but Ubigi did make it easier than I expected. I got a data package for a short stay in USA and used it with WhatsApp to call friends. However, data is no good for making regular calls to businesses, so I couldn’t call hotels and restaurants. Next time I will need to find a way to making those calls. Does Ubigi have that option? Overall Ubigi data plan worked perfectly for WhatsApp etc.

Smartphones / Tablets:

Dial *#06#.
→ If an EID number appears, your device is eSIM-compatible.

Windows 10 / 11:

Press Windows+I.
Go to “Network & Internet”
→ If you see "Cellular", your PC is eSIM-compatible.

How to check carrier unlocking

iPhone / iPad:

Go to Settings > General > About.
Scroll to Carrier Lock.
→ If you see “No SIM restrictions”, your device is unlocked.

Android:

Go to Settings > Network & Internet > Mobile network.
Disable Automatic network selection.
→ If multiple networks appear, your device is unlocked.

You already have an eSIM in your cart.
