Great experience with Ubigi eSIM being…
Great experience with Ubigi eSIM being abroad. It was tricky upon the arrival. I could not connect it first. And I could not search for help with the connection without an internet as it was not connected automatically. But after I finally got the connection everything was great! I had an internet 24/7. Would use it for my next trip for sure!

Best e-sim if you're in Japan
Best e-sim if you're in Japan.
A bit of context how I switched to Ubigi from Airalo.
I used Airalo before when I was in Spain. Knowing that it was bad in Spain, I decided to try my luck again and bought their e-sim before arriving in Japan. The moment I landed, I tried their service before leaving the airport wifi network, and it was really bad. No reception, and momentary flares of connection and disconnection. I switched back to airport wifi and googled. Someone said on a reddit post to edit the apigateway and other settings. It felt stupid. If you're buying a service, the configuration should be set by them, rather than the user to rely on finding it from unauthentic sources. I tried reaching out to their support and there was no help. Meanwhile, my wife tried Ubigi. No hassle. Bought it, installed the e-sim, and worked flawless. The cost was 1 dollar cheaper than airalo too. I requested a refund from airalo and switched to ubigi too. Gotta give credit where it's due. The refund from airalo was smooth.
I was in Japan for two weeks, and I roamed in Tokyo, Matsumoto, Nagano, Ueda, and a few more remote places. The reception was amazing, and the data usage shown was accurate. I would highly recommend their e-sim if you're in Japan. I don't know if they are in Europe, but I'll be happy to switch to Ubigi if they're when I travel.

I used Ubigi e-SIM while vacationing in Europe. I used Ubigi for 10 days. The transition happened seamlessly and flawlessly and without me having to do anything! As soon as I used my phone upon landing in Austria, I saw the Ubigi logo appear and provide instant connectivity. The same thing happened in reverse when I landed back in the States at Washington Dulles. Ubigi signed off, and my Verizon carrier restarted. Connectivity in Austria was excellent—even in remote locations near the Alps mountains. I never once lost connectivity, nor even experienced an interruption. When using either Apple Maps or Google Maps to travel or walk to a host of daily destinations, I never lost connectivity. I used the Internet apps to explore further information on places to visit and even search for places to eat and then use the On-line map to monitor my progress as I walked. All my iPhone apps worked perfectly—except one: Messages. I couldn’t send or receive text messages. Instead, I used Signal, Facebook Messenger, WhatsApp, and Snapchat. These all worked flawlessly.

This was my first time using an eSIM…
This was my first time using an eSIM while traveling abroad. Ubigi's connectivity in Japan was outstanding! My friends used travel plans from their carriers and noticed immediately internet service was extremely slow when information was needed. With Ubigi's service I was able to connect fast! The service kicked in upon landing in Japan (very easy transition).
