I have used Ubigi a couple of times and recommend it to people. Normally it's been all good. My last trip I made a mistake and bought the wrong type of plan (I bought 'Germany' instead of 'Europe') which meant I had to either buy another plan or go without Internet. In future you shouldn't have the option to make that mistake. With jetlag etc, it should be easier to get a plan that covers Europe (which you have), without making the mistake.

Easy to use even for technologically challenged
This was the very first time with SIM/eSIM. Ubigi made it easy for technologically challenged to access data in Japan. Not only connecting to internet on the go so easy but also very reasonable price. No more looking for McDonald's or Starbucks. And most of the time I am on 5G in Tokyo. I used to depends on paper maps but now I follow GPS directions.

How to check eSIM compatibility
Smartphones / Tablets:
Dial *#06#. → If an EID number appears, your device is eSIM-compatible.
Windows 10 / 11:
Press Windows+I. Go to “Network & Internet” → If you see "Cellular", your PC is eSIM-compatible.
How to check carrier unlocking
iPhone / iPad:
Go to Settings > General > About. Scroll to Carrier Lock. → If you see “No SIM restrictions”, your device is unlocked.
Android:
Go to Settings > Network & Internet > Mobile network. Disable Automatic network selection. → If multiple networks appear, your device is unlocked.
You already have an eSIM in your cart.
