How to reinstall the Ubigi eSIM profile I deleted on my Android device?

If you deleted your Ubigi eSIM profile by mistake on your Android device, you can reinstall it easily by following the steps below:

– open the Ubigi app on your device and connect to your Ubigi account

– once connected, go to the Settings tab and click on the “Re-install my Ubigi eSIM” button:


– then follow the instructions on screen to complete the installation.

NB: The re-installation of a Ubigi eSIM profile is limited to 5 times max after deletion. In case you get an error message during a re-installation, please see the following section:

The eSIM seemed to work for the most part. There were areas I did not have service. When I got back I was charged for the service again for another 30 days. I deleted the account per the Ubigi instructions and then had a time trying to get it credited back as apparently when you delete the account it literally wipes it from their system. It was eventually fixed.

Worked really great. As soon as we landed, I immediately turned it on and got connected. The speeds were decent, consumption was accurate and fair, and overall service was good too. Only a few weak spots but overall was able to stay connected for the entirety of the trip.

How to check eSIM compatibility

Smartphones / Tablets:

Dial *#06#.
→ If an EID number appears, your device is eSIM-compatible.

Windows 10 / 11:

Press Windows+I.
Go to “Network & Internet”
→ If you see "Cellular", your PC is eSIM-compatible.

How to check carrier unlocking

iPhone / iPad:

Go to Settings > General > About.
Scroll to Carrier Lock.
→ If you see “No SIM restrictions”, your device is unlocked.

Android:

Go to Settings > Network & Internet > Mobile network.
Disable Automatic network selection.
→ If multiple networks appear, your device is unlocked.

You already have an eSIM in your cart.

Each order can only include one eSIM data plan.
