How can I disable my Ubigi eSIM profile on my iPhone when I travel or when I do not use it?
To temporarily disable your Ubigi eSIM :
1 – Go to Settings > Mobile Data > choose Ubigi eSIM profile (or “secondary” if you have not renamed the profile yet):
2 – Deactivate the button in front of “Turn on this line” to deactivate the profile (the button will then appear as grayed out) : Your eSIM profile is now disabled.
You can also find those instructions on the video below.
We recommend you to never delete your Ubigi eSIM when you travel or when you do not use it as you can simply deactivate/reactivate it as described above, until you need it again.

I was able to activate my SIM card the earliest after arriving in Japan. I usually have a hard time getting connected with other carriers so I will recommend Ubigi to all my friends.

Great value
Very easy to get the eSIM, worked great, the app showed how much was spent. Also, a nice bonus was the -20% code for a friend, so my friend could get the same eSIM for a cheaper price.

Network connectivity was consistent
Network connectivity was consistent. Setup instructions were slightly different than current iOS, so took a bit of time to setup. I did notice ubigi service didn’t activate upon arriving in Japan like Ubigi said it would, so I had to activate manually which was stressful enough getting thru the airport

Super great
Super great, great response, always connected, 10 gb were more than enough for my 7 days at Osaka, I used it for maps, instagram, messaging and searching the web.

How to check if a device is ready for eSIM?
Check eSIM compatibility
Smartphones & Cellular Tablets:
Dial (*#06#). If an EID number shows, your device supports eSIM!
Laptops (Windows 10/11):
Open your flyout (bottom-right corner). If Cellular settings are visible, your laptop supports eSIM!
Check Carrier Unlock
On iOS:
Go to Settings > General > About, scroll to Carrier Lock. If it says "No SIM restrictions", your device is unlocked!
On Android:
Go to Settings > Network & Internet > Mobile Network, turn off Auto network selection. If you see multiple available networks, your device is unlocked! If only one appears, or you get an error, it may be locked.
You already have an eSIM in your cart.
Each order can only include one eSIM data plan.
Current plan: •
If you choose to add a new one, the current plan will be removed. What would you like to do?
