The Ubigi antenna pictogram is not displayed in Japan, why?

In Japan, Ubigi works with two telecom partners: NTT Docomo and KDDI.

NTT Docomo – When connected to the NTT Docomo network (sometimes also displayed as Ubigi), the antenna pictogram will appear normally on your device.

KDDI – When connected to the KDDI network (which may also display as Ubigi), the antenna pictogram might not appear at the top of your screen. This is due to differences in network protocols between Ubigi and KDDI.

⚠️ Important: Even if the antenna pictogram is not displayed, your internet connection will still work. You can browse, stream, and use online apps as usual.

This ensures you can enjoy seamless connectivity in Japan, regardless of which partner network your device connects to.ed, your connection will work, so please try your connection and you will have access to the Internet.
