I am about to travel. How do I manage my Ubigi eSIM profile on my device ?

If you have purchased a pre-loaded eSIM profile on the website: we advise you to install it the day before or a few hours before your departure when you still have a valid Internet connection (eg: Wifi, connectivity of your local SIM card) in order to to be able to download your eSIM profile. This will also allow you to optimize the validity period of your data plan since it starts when you scan with your device the QR code received by email.

If you already have a Ubigi eSIM profile installed on your device, in this case at your convenience you can :
– Recharge the day before or a few hours before your departure to ensure you have an Internet connection available immediately upon arrival at your destination
– Or recharge once at your destination using the connectivity of your Ubigi eSIM (even without a valid data plan).
The validity of your data plan starts upon validation of your recharge.

If you are traveling by plane, we advise you to do the following two steps just before activating airplane mode on your device:
1/ activate your Ubigi eSIM profile (on iPhone – on Android)
2/ apply the data to your eSIM profile (on iPhone – on Android)
Finally, enable airplane mode.
Once you arrive at your destination, Ubigi connectivity will then be available immediately as soon as you have deactivated airplane mode (and this will also prevent you from incurring roaming charges with your other possible physical SIM card).

When crossing a border to arrive in your destination country: we advise you to also do the two steps described above in order to access Ubigi connectivity easily and quickly.
