How do I know if my Ubigi eSIM profile is activated on my iPhone/iPad?
To check if your eSIM profile is activated on your iPhone/iPad:
– Go to Settings:
– Then, select Mobile data:
– Then, under DATA PLANS, select the installed profile (it will appear as secondary):
– Finally, activate the profile by pressing the button on the right:
As soon as your profile is activated, a double network signal will appear at the top of your screen: For more information:
1/ When you activate your eSIM profile, new fields will appear so that you can manage your profile: E.g.: the field “Network selection” indicates the name of the network on which you are connected (Example below is “Ubigi”):
2/ The “Data Roaming” option must be activated for your Ubigi profile to ensure that your data connection works.

Easy to install and use
Easy to install and use, works fine.
Relocating inside the country (by plane) was kind of confusing at first, but worked fine later.

Good overall, but poor reception in many buildings.
The experience and prices were generally good, but reception in many buildings (old, with thick walls) was quite poor.

Super easy to use!
Used this for the first time for a trip to Japan - so easy to configure and great connectivity the whole time. Have used it again for more trips to USA and the Caribbean - this is now my go-to travel SIM - brilliant!

How to check eSIM compatibility
Smartphones / Tablets:
Dial *#06#. → If an EID number appears, your device is eSIM-compatible.
Windows 10 / 11:
Press Windows+I. Go to “Network & Internet” → If you see "Cellular", your PC is eSIM-compatible.
How to check carrier unlocking
iPhone / iPad:
Go to Settings > General > About. Scroll to Carrier Lock. → If you see “No SIM restrictions”, your device is unlocked.
Android:
Go to Settings > Network & Internet > Mobile network. Disable Automatic network selection. → If multiple networks appear, your device is unlocked.
You already have an eSIM in your cart.
Each order can only include one eSIM data plan.
If you choose to add a new one, the current plan will be removed. What would you like to do?
