How can I buy a data plan from the Ubigi application on an Android device?
Once your Ubigi account created (steps for account creation here), you can purchase data plans to top-up your account:
– From the Ubigi application: you can download it from the Play Store.
– or from the website Ubigi.me: open a web page and go to Ubigi.me
Once connected with your login and password, go to the TOP-UP tab, select a data plan and follow the instructions to purchase it.
Please see below the detailled instructions if needed:
① Connect to your Ubigi account and tap « ≡ » at the top of the page to open the Menu:
② When the Menu pops up, select « Top-up » :
③ Select the data plan you want to purchase :
(For example below the USA-3GB data plan)
④ The description of the selected recharge will be displayed.
Check if it is the right data plan you want to purchase, then select the payment method of your choice and follow instructions on screen to complete the payment.
Note 1 : when you purchase a data plan, your credit card information are registered into your account to facilitate your future purchases. You can check and delete the registered information on the « Payment » menu as you like.
Note 2 : Every payment will show on your bank statement under Transatel S.A (Ubigi is a service from Transatel S.A).
Once the payment has been validated, your new recharge will appear on the “My data plans” tab and will be activated automatically. It will therefore be directly available for use.
