Great service, very reliable
Very reliable in both Japan (Tokyo, Osaka, and Kyoto) and well as in the Philippines (Manila and Boracay). Was able to also use hot spot data for a friend without service which worked very well. Will use again on our next trip!

Easy transaction. Easy to install. Easy to use. As soon as I touched down in Japan, the eSIM kicked on. Toggled between 5G and LTE but decent speeds for the most part. No issues using Google maps, even in the subways.

How to check eSIM compatibility
Smartphones / Tablets:
Dial *#06#. → If an EID number appears, your device is eSIM-compatible.
Windows 10 / 11:
Press Windows+I. Go to “Network & Internet” → If you see "Cellular", your PC is eSIM-compatible.
How to check carrier unlocking
iPhone / iPad:
Go to Settings > General > About. Scroll to Carrier Lock. → If you see “No SIM restrictions”, your device is unlocked.
Android:
Go to Settings > Network & Internet > Mobile network. Disable Automatic network selection. → If multiple networks appear, your device is unlocked.
