How to use the tethering (data sharing) with an iPhone/iPad to share the Ubigi connectivity?
In order to share the Ubigi cellular data connection from your iPhone or iPad with another device, please follow the instructions below:
1/ First, make sure that your iPhone/iPad is connected to the Ubigi cellular network (to do that, go to Settings/Cellular networks/Cellular networks again/select your eSIM profile).
2/ Then go to : – Settings – Personal hotspot (*) – Tap the slider next to activate the option in [1] – You will also see a Wi-Fi password appear in [2]
Once this option is activated, activate the Wi-Fi on the other device (the one you want to get connected), select your iPhone/iPad signal and enter the password displayed on your iPhone/iPad.
And voilà! The tethering is now working and you can connect several devices to share the Ubigi connectivity 🙂
(*) In case the Personal hotspot option is disabled (all grey), you will need to register the APN first in the Settings. To do that, please follow the instruction on section How to set the APN for Ubigi eSIM? Once the APN set, go back to Settings > Mobile data > Personal hotspot to check if the option is now available: – if it does, go further with the instructions above to set the option – if it does not, double-check that you registered well the mbb APN and if the situation persists do not hesitate to contact our Customer Service for more help.

I bought a unlimited 30 days for japan since i wa stay a little bit more then 3 weeks. I had for week now and for last 3 Days the connect have suddenly disappeared, like 7 times now, luckily it have came back after 5-10 mins.. So it's not 100 % reliable.

Was a straight forward process and I…
Was a straight forward process and I didn't have to do much. Worked really well on my android as well. I would recommend acquiring an esim at least 48 hours before traveling, that is how long it took for me.

Good Esim for travelling in Tokyo
Good Esim for travelling in Tokyo, Kyoto and Osaka. Various plan for a decent price. Easy to install and activate. User friendly app to top up for more data and keep track of your data usage. We are happy. Recommended.

I can't switch my local plan to regional
I bought my plan for Germany, but I'd like to change to a regional plan, because I'll travel to Italy and France.
I didn't find a way to convert my local plan to a regional one.
Even if I'd have to pay some fee for this switch, it would be better than buying another plan.

Perfect for Digital Nomads
As a digital nomad, having reliable wifi is essential when traveling. Ubigi had great coverage all over Rome and I was able to teach my classes in different parts of the city without a hitch.

ESim is very good
ESim is very good, and helps a lot . It was only two times a bit complicated to activate. But thank you, I use Ubigi pretty much.

How to check if a device is ready for eSIM?
Check eSIM compatibility
Smartphones & Cellular Tablets:
Dial (*#06#). If an EID number shows, your device supports eSIM!
Laptops (Windows 10/11):
Open your flyout (bottom-right corner). If Cellular settings are visible, your laptop supports eSIM!
Check Carrier Unlock
On iOS:
Go to Settings > General > About, scroll to Carrier Lock. If it says "No SIM restrictions", your device is unlocked!
On Android:
Go to Settings > Network & Internet > Mobile Network, turn off Auto network selection. If you see multiple available networks, your device is unlocked! If only one appears, or you get an error, it may be locked.
You already have an eSIM in your cart.
Each order can only include one eSIM data plan.
Current plan: •
If you choose to add a new one, the current plan will be removed. What would you like to do?
