Yes, this is completely normal. Depending on your device and location, you may see:
– The name of a local partner carrier – The numbers “901 37” – Our previous brand name “Cellular Data” – The name of our company “Transatel”
These variations are only display differences; as long as you are using your Ubigi eSIM, your connectivity and service are fully functional. There’s no need to worry if you don’t see “Ubigi” explicitly—your device is still connected to the Ubigi network and can access all features as usual.

OMG! Ubigi is soon gooood!
Our son pointed us in the direction of Ubigi in order to make contact with home during the vacation to the middle east. Easy to purchase, easy to install and use and easy to access the service.
Only downside is we, mere non-tech mortals 🤣 struggled with the very straight-forward installation of the e-sim - but I don't think that was the fault of Ubibi

It works but gave no warning when I ran out
It worked when I got to Japan but I never got a warning that my data would run out. All of a sudden I was without service and had to find wifi so I could renew the coverage.

How to check eSIM compatibility
Smartphones / Tablets:
Dial *#06#. → If an EID number appears, your device is eSIM-compatible.
Windows 10 / 11:
Press Windows+I. Go to “Network & Internet” → If you see "Cellular", your PC is eSIM-compatible.
How to check carrier unlocking
iPhone / iPad:
Go to Settings > General > About. Scroll to Carrier Lock. → If you see “No SIM restrictions”, your device is unlocked.
Android:
Go to Settings > Network & Internet > Mobile network. Disable Automatic network selection. → If multiple networks appear, your device is unlocked.
You already have an eSIM in your cart.
Each order can only include one eSIM data plan.
If you choose to add a new one, the current plan will be removed. What would you like to do?
