I restored my data on my (new) iPhone, but my eSIM profile does not work. What to do?
When restoring your data to your a new or another iPhone, the eSIM profile is not restored. This is an Apple limitation in the data restoration process.
In order to properly reinstall your Ubigi eSIM profile on your iPhone after restoring or resetting your device, we invite you to follow the instructions below:
A/ If you are restoring or transferring data to the same iPhone: Connect to WiFi or cellular data with your primary SIM card (locally), then follow instructions here to reinstall your Ubigi eSIM profile.
B/ If you are restoring or transferringdata to a new iPhone or adifferent iPhone: If you still have access to your “old” phone on which the Ubigi eSIM profile was installed, please access it and go to Settings to delete the eSIM profile on it. (NB: make sure you are connected to WiFi with old phone when deleting).
After that, follow instructions on this link in order to reinstall the eSIM profile on your new phone.
If you do not have access to your “old” phone on which the Ubigi eSIM profile was installed, please contact Customer Service mentioning the email address of your Ubigi account to help you resolve the situation.

Had trouble with the initial activation, all of the anticipated functionality was not there.
Ended up deleting and restarting which generated some issues as well. Even though I thought I had requested phone functionality, unable to make international or calls within US.
However access linked to data usage was good.

First time user. Wasn’t sure how it would work exactly as I had actually layer 3 different country dat plans for trips happening over a couple of months. Well first one worked perfectly, no issues, no worries. I’m sure next two be just fine too.

Ubigi worked flawlessly
Ubigi worked flawlessly. I purchased the eSIM I needed for a great price, activated it in a minute and it began working quickly. I had purchased an Airalo eSIM for Spain and it was refusing to connect to the network on both of our phones, and after 2 hours of trying everything and waiting 1 hour for customer service they didn’t even help. I’ll be using Ubigi from now on, works how it’s supposed to.

How to check if a device is ready for eSIM?
Check eSIM compatibility
Smartphones & Cellular Tablets:
Dial (*#06#). If an EID number shows, your device supports eSIM!
Laptops (Windows 10/11):
Open your flyout (bottom-right corner). If Cellular settings are visible, your laptop supports eSIM!
Check Carrier Unlock
On iOS:
Go to Settings > General > About, scroll to Carrier Lock. If it says "No SIM restrictions", your device is unlocked!
On Android:
Go to Settings > Network & Internet > Mobile Network, turn off Auto network selection. If you see multiple available networks, your device is unlocked! If only one appears, or you get an error, it may be locked.
You already have an eSIM in your cart.
Each order can only include one eSIM data plan.
If you choose to add a new one, the current plan will be removed. What would you like to do?
